Quilt Presentation at the Wichita Art Museum

December 27, 2007

Have you been to the quilt exhibit at the Wichita Art Museum?  I went last week, and it’s pretty cool.  It ends January 13, 2008…

The museum is sponsoring another presentation in conjunction with the exhibit.  Terry Thompson, described as a quiltmaker, historian, and author of several books including Made in America by the Daughters of Liberty, 1776-1830; Prairie Quilts and Pioneer Stories; Quilts & Stories from the Peace Creek Homestead; and The People of the Plains.  She will speak on Saturday, January 12, at 3pm — the session is free, but reservations are required.  Call 268-4917.
